Pros

Better than signing on, almost.

Cons

Fortunes spent on consultants rather than upskilling staff, employing sufficient staff, or having sufficient stock. Makes promises to customers they know cannot be kept, leaving customer service staff to deal with the fallout. Buys cheap mislabelled shoes and expects collages to distribute them to students. Management does not accept responsibility for chronic ongoing issues, but regularly fires staff seeming to think that will solve it. Takes on warehouse managers, drops them into college hell season with no handover and no support. Those who don't quit get fired.

Pros

Before this business dies there is a possibility of it been acquired which may reflect better values or work culture.

Cons

Toxic, despicable and very unprofessional place to work for. There is a distinct lack leadership and proper management, no matter what team you are in you will be forced to help other departments such as answering customer service calls, working in the warhouse packaging & dispatching all day. You will never get a holiday leave, because there is always work piled up. There is no HR team, the workplace premises are unacceptable and need examining for health and safety & pest control purposes. - Completely unprofessional and poorly structured business. Management is a joke. - Lone working, understaffed, terrible work culture, insufficient break times. - Abundance of drug taking in the workplace with many employees turning up to work in an unfit state. - Target-driven environment, very stressful & never recognised for any achievements. - Office chitchat and too much gossip, creating brutal rumours and false stories about coworkers.

There literally isn't any at all

Cons

The company does not care about you at all, members of staff are literally their lowest priority. The company always looks for the cheapest way to do anything such as: - they prefer to make people redundant rather than try and invest in the staff - they expect you to work outside of your contracted hours for free and if you do not you get extremely judged - no matter what department you work at, you will be expected to work for other departments - extremely understaffed all year round - the electronics and systems are really outdated The environment is toxic and extremely unprofessional. There is no way of progressing as you're always understaffed and the management does not care about your training or growth. Your work goes unnoticed and everyday you're left feeling unappreciated. This company is so cheap and poorly structured that I'm surprised it's still functioning. Honestly, avoid this company as it will save you from a lot of tears!!
